RICHMOND, Ky. — The Association for Linen Management (ALM) reports that its 2023 IMPACT Conference, which begins Monday at the Hyatt Place/Hyatt House in Charleston, South Carolina’s Historic District, will take place with a full house.
“We are doing all we can to serve every member who wants the experience of IMPACT,” says ALM Executive Director Sarah Brobeck, MBA, RLLD.
“I personally know the value of ALM events, so we’re working to find more space to accommodate every potential attendee, although the venue’s capacity obviously has a limit, and we’re nearly there!”
ALM says that incredible demand from the industry for in-person learning and networking, coupled with IMPACT’s reputation has attendance for the 2023 IMPACT Conference nearing record levels.
The association says industry professionals are ready to come back to in-person for experiences that cannot be duplicated in the virtual world.
IMPACT attendees are excited about one of Brobeck’s first innovations to IMPACT, IMPACTful Connections, according to the association. ALM will pair laundry and linen professionals with suppliers of products and services in a fast-paced business exchange.
“As a vendor myself, I know the benefit of the connections made during face-to-face events,” says ALM Board Member Phil Hart. “That’s why I’m so excited about IMPACTful Connections. I’m certain this opportunity will bring new, collaborative solutions for everyone involved.”
“This is the start of something exciting. There is a shift in the industry to move forward, into growth rather than simply survival,” says ALM Board President Jim Mangini, RLLD.
