Ecotex Healthcare Linen Acquires Amarillo Laundry Facility

Expansion reflects commitment to support customers in Southwest region, company says

AMARILLO, Texas — Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service, a provider of healthcare linen and laundry solutions, reports it has acquired the 32,000-square-foot North Heights Linen Service healthcare laundry facility here. Terms were not announced.

This strategic expansion strengthens Ecotex’s ability to deliver high-quality, sustainable linen services to hospitals and healthcare providers throughout West Texas, the company shares.

“Our investment reflects our dedication to support regional healthcare customers with reliable, sustainable laundry solutions,” says Bryan Bartsch, president and CEO of Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service.

“The Amarillo laundry plant enables us to better serve customers in West Texas and provides additional regional plant capacity for increased redundancy, benefiting both new and existing customers in the region. With the additional capacity from the Amarillo plant, Ecotex will continue to expand within the Southwest region.”

“We chose Ecotex to buy our facility and help us continue employing locals in Amarillo,” says Puff Niegos, managing director of North Heights Linen Service. “Ecotex brings scale, industry experience, and resources that we didn’t have on our own as a small, single-plant operation.

“I’m confident that Ecotex will support the local hospitals with the quality, reliability and efficiency.”

Ecotex says the expansion reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting customers in the Southwest region, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in the healthcare linen industry.
