Healthcare Linen Services Group Acquires Penn Enterprises

Strengthens company’s regional presence across Missouri, Kansas

ST. CHARLES, Ill. — Healthcare Linen Services Group (HLSG), a provider of healthcare linen management solutions, reports it has acquired Penn Enterprises in Rolla, Missouri.

The company says the strategic acquisition includes a 30,000-square-foot processing facility, which will be rebranded as Linen King.

“HLSG is excited and honored to welcome the Penn team into the HLSG family through this strategic acquisition,” says Joseph LaPorta, CEO and president. “Their reputation in the industry is best in class, built on a long-standing commitment to quality, service and innovation.”

HLSG says the addition strengthens its regional presence across Missouri and Kansas and reinforces its commitment to delivering high-quality linen services to healthcare providers throughout the Midwest.

Penn Enterprises has deep roots in government contracting and a strong track record in both military and healthcare laundry services, HLSG says. Penn has processed over 44 million pounds of laundry annually for the Department of Defense and has operated full-service hospital laundries since its founding.

HLSG adds that the acquisition strengthens its position in the healthcare market by adding a proven operator with extensive experience in medical linen services.

“We look forward to combining our strengths to deliver even greater value to our customers and to further advancing our shared vision for excellence in healthcare linen services,” LaPorta adds.
