WARSAW, Ind. — Wildman Business Group, an industrial laundry based here, reports it has acquired Springfield (Ky.) Laundry.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The opportunity to come together was driven by years of mutual respect between myself and Jimbo Carrico, owner of Springfield Laundry,” says Josh Wildman, CEO of Wildman Business Group.
“With the Carricos’ need for succession planning and an alignment on our shared mindset around a personal commitment and attention to team members, community and customers, Wildman is excited about the synergies formed and the ability to use business to change lives and glorify God by empowering people to flourish through their mission to provide products and services that keep teams and facilities clean, safe and looking great.”
The acquisition expands Wildman’s service area to nine locations and 500 employees serving more than 13,500 customers in Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio and now Kentucky.
Wildman says it is committed to all aspects of Springfield Laundry, including the Springfield plant, the Louisville service center, its customers, and inviting all team members to stay.
The company adds that it will bring synergies of additional products and services to all customers, providing an excellent value proposition and overall growth as an independent supplier in the Midwest and the South.
“This partnership provides the opportunity to accelerate our growth, not just in revenues but with investment in our people,” shares Josh Wildman.
Carrico has joined the broader Wildman team, managing major relationships over the Springfield and Louisville locations. Spencer Carrico has also joined the team as assistant general manager, focused on production and service.
Wildman says it has maintained its goal of at least 70% of promotions coming from the team with its nine acquisitions in the last several years.
