Nixon Medical Acquires Scrubs Medical Laundry

Third Texas-based addition for healthcare linen/apparel provider

NEW CASTLE, Del. — Nixon Medical, a family-owned provider of medical apparel and linens for outpatient healthcare centers, reports it has acquired Scrubs Medical Laundry, a provider of medical laundry services based in San Antonio.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2001, Scrubs Medical Laundry has earned a reputation for reliable service and dedication to its customers across San Antonio, Nixon Medical says.

The acquisition strengthens Nixon Medical’s presence in the Texas market and allows for continued growth in the region while ensuring uninterrupted care for Scrubs Medical Laundry’s current customers, according to the company.

“We’re grateful for the opportunity to expand our service reach while honoring the trusted relationships Scrubs Medical Laundry has built,” says Ben Berstein, Nixon Medical shareholder and vice president of corporate development.

“Like us, Scrubs shares a commitment to excellence in service. We’re excited to welcome their team and customers into our Nixon Medical family.”

This marks Nixon Medical’s third acquisition in Texas and reflects the company’s long-term investment in providing high-touch, high-trust service to outpatient healthcare centers.

With family values at the core of its ownership and operations, Nixon Medical says it continues to seek like-minded organizations that complement its service-first approach actively.

Unlike private equity-backed firms that may prioritize short-term financial goals, Nixon Medical says it remains focused on long-term partnership, associate culture and delivering the Nixon Medical Service Difference™ — a promise of safe, compliant and efficient service built around each healthcare facility’s needs.

Fairmount Partners served as M&A adviser, and Cozen O’Connor was Nixon Medical’s legal counsel for the transaction.
