POWELL, Ohio — The International Association for Healthcare Textile Management (IAHTM) recently presented Phil Hart of Kannegiesser North America and John Wintz, retired from Standard Textile, with its 2025 Don Pedder Lifetime Achievement Award.
Hart and Wintz recently received their trophies during the final night of IAHTM’s 2025 Annual Education Conference in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Don Pedder Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals who have significantly advanced the laundry industry and exemplify the traits of an ideal manager or sales professional.
IATHM states that, with over 30 years of experience, Hart has demonstrated exceptional leadership and integrity throughout his career. As president of Kannegiesser USA, he helped transform the company from a European supplier into a leading U.S.-based firm, fostering innovation, collaboration, and education across the industry.
“Known for his ‘do what’s right’ philosophy, Phil has earned immense respect from peers, partners, and colleagues alike,” the association shares in a press release.
A respected industry veteran, Wintz spent decades supporting healthcare facilities with expertise, dedication, and heart, IATHM says, adding, “His passion for promoting sustainable textile solutions and mentoring future leaders has made a lasting impact on the industry.”
Throughout his tenure at Standard Textile, Wintz’s professionalism, generosity, and unwavering commitment to excellence has inspired countless others to follow in his footsteps, the association states.
IAHTM is a nonprofit, membership-based organization that provides shared learning opportunities and educational programs to senior-level experts and their peers in healthcare textile management.
