ITU AbsorbTech Earns Local Business of the Year Award

Waukesha Co. (Wis.) Business Alliance honor recognizes companies with strong values

NEW BERLIN, Wis. — The Waukesha County Business Alliance, in partnership with Waukesha County and the Waukesha County Center for Growth, has named ITU AbsorbTech, an industrial laundry headquartered here, its 2025 Large Business of the Year.

“This recognition belongs to all of our employees,” says Craig Bald, president and CEO of ITU AbsorbTech. “Their daily efforts make ITU AbsorbTech a company we can all be proud of.”

The Alliance presented the award during its Sept. 11 annual meeting. The honor recognizes businesses with strong values, including operational excellence, commitment to customers and employees, community involvement, and consistent growth.

ITU AbsorbTech says these values are evident in its StraightUp!™ communication and Genuine Service Excellence; employee programs such as altITUde mentoring, Career Connections, tuition assistance, and the Family Education Fund; and recognition as a Top Workplace for five consecutive years.

The company also gives back through Tee Up Fore the Cure — which has raised more than $1.5 million to date — along with Fox6 Coats for Kids and quarterly nonprofit drives.
