Prudential Celebrates Arizona Cleanroom Expansion

Mesa laundry processing facility grows to 37,000 square feet

MESA, Ariz. — Prudential Overall Supply, a provider of reusable image work apparel and cleanroom laundry service systems, hosted a celebratory open house on Nov. 12 here at its expanded cleanroom laundry processing facility.

The expanded site offers cleanroom laundry processing services for industries that operate and manufacture in controlled environments, including semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, bioscience, aerospace, education and electronics.

The project is a phase 4 expansion for Prudential’s 1989 now 37,000-square-foot commercial laundry facility on a 5-acre parcel.

“This facility provides over 130 well-paying jobs for the greater Mesa/Phoenix communities and provides our customers with best-in-class cleanroom laundry services throughout the Arizona and Rocky Mountain markets,” says company President Chris Welch.

“The Arizona market is important to Prudential, so we can best serve our customers’ requirements in the region. To signal our commitment to Arizona, our combined investment since opening our facility is approximately $35 million, with a phase 5 project in development.”

This facility is part of Prudential’s eight ISO Class 3 cleanroom laundry processing facilities in the United States, extending the company’s throughput capacity.

Officials representing the City of Mesa, the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, customers and community leaders attended the event.

“Mesa needs all types of businesses to keep our economy strong, and Prudential’s expansion is a great example of this,” says Mayor Mark Freeman. “Their investment shows confidence in Mesa as the right place to do business, where companies can grow, people can find jobs, and industry leaders can continue to innovate.”

City of Mesa City Manager Scott Butler shares, “Prudential Cleanroom Services is a strong addition to support Mesa’s growing network of advanced industries. Their investment reinforces Mesa’s reputation as a hub for innovation and precision manufacturing, while supporting key sectors like semiconductors and biosciences.”

“We’re proud to have Prudential Cleanroom Services expand their operations here in Mesa,” states City of Mesa District 4 Council Member Jenn Duff. “Their investment not only strengthens our local economy but also supports the growth of advanced industries that are shaping Mesa’s future. Companies like Prudential exemplify the innovation, sustainability, and partnership that make Mesa a place where businesses and communities thrive.”
