PRINCETON, N.J. — Miele Professional, a provider of commercial-grade appliances, including laundry equipment, recently held a grand opening for its advanced technology training facility at its headquarters here.
The company says the center further demonstrates its commitment to excellence in service and sales through comprehensive training and development for customers and partners.
“We are thrilled to open our new training facility, which offers a comprehensive environment to fully experience our products,” says Scott Lombardi, U.S. Country Director, Miele Professional. “The state-of-the-art center enhances learning through advanced tools and resources that allow for effective troubleshooting and additional support and exemplifies our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest service standards and product excellence.”
The facility will be fully operational with running water and electricity for demonstrations and hands-on training with specialized areas for laboratory, dental, laundry, and dish units, as well as conference room space for technical support group meetings.
The training center has been designed to embody Miele’s four pillars:
- Customers: Customers and partners will benefit from a hands-on, immersive learning environment to experience the full range of Miele products and gain a deep understanding of each unit’s capabilities.
- Employees: Miele is investing in its workforce by equipping trainers and technicians with the tools and capabilities needed to troubleshoot effectively and respond immediately—even virtually, as necessary. This empowers employees to deliver top-tier support and service, reflecting the company’s commitment to excellence.
- Sustainability: The size of units and the ADA-compliant design of the facility allow Miele to conduct all training in a more efficient way, reducing the need for travel. This approach aligns with the company’s sustainability goals that include minimizing its carbon footprint and promoting other environmentally friendly practices.
- Performance: This significant investment underscores Miele’s commitment to enhancing overall business performance and strengthening the brand in North America. The facility was designed to support growth and help Miele keep pace with increasing demand as technologies advance, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional products and services to customers.
The new training center is a strategic and significant investment in Miele’s future, the company says. By providing a dedicated space for learning and development, it hopes to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation that benefits its stakeholders.
The company concludes, “Customers and partners will receive comprehensive training that enhances their experience and satisfaction with Miele products, and employees can receive product and service training in an environment that empowers them to provide the high standards of service Miele is known for worldwide.”
