Prudential Opens Cleanroom Laundry Facility in Ohio

37th location will process laundry for industries with controlled environments

HEATH, Ohio — Prudential Overall Supply, a provider of reusable image work apparel and cleanroom laundry service systems based in Irvine, Calif., opened its new cleanroom laundry processing facility site here on Sept. 16.

Officials representing local and state entities and TRSA representatives attended the ribbon-cutting event.

The site will provide cleanroom laundry processing services for industries that operate and manufacture in controlled environments like semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, biosciences, aerospace, education and electronics.

“This facility will eventually provide over 80 well-paying jobs for the greater Heath and Licking County community and provide our customers with best-in-class cleanroom laundry services throughout the Midwest region,” shares Chris Welch, president of Prudential.

The project is a 68,000-square-foot commercial laundry facility on a 9-acre parcel.

“The Ohio market is important to Prudential so we can best serve our customers’ requirements in the region,” Welch adds. “To signal our commitment to Central Ohio, our projected investment for this site is $35 million.”

This will be Prudential’s 37th location and its eighth ISO Class 3 cleanroom laundry processing facility in the United States.
