ORLANDO, Fla. — The Clean Show, hosted by Messe Frankfurt, is the premier event for the laundering, drycleaning, textile care and textile rental industry in North America.
On Aug. 23-26, attendees of Clean ’25 here at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) will be able to discover the latest equipment, products and technologies, as well as attend timely educational sessions and enjoy networking opportunities.
It’s the first time Messe Frankfurt, which acquired the show in 2019, will present in Orlando, and the first time Clean has visited this popular Florida city since 2005.
“Orlando, as a destination city, is able to accommodate our show needs, and perhaps offer some extra incentives after the show that other cities do not have,” says Greg Jira, group show director for Messe Frankfurt Inc. based in Atlanta.
“Also very interesting is the fact that because Orlando has so many hotels, the commercial laundry scene is something that’s ‘closer to home.’ The associations could do plant tours much easier in that area. It’s really geared to the commercial laundry aspect just because of the pure tourist volume size in the area. We’re very excited to be back.”
Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando, says the OCCC stands out for its customer experience, prime location and capacity to host some of the largest and most influential events in the world.
“With more than 2 million square feet of exhibit space, the OCCC offers unmatched flexibility and state-of-the-art infrastructure to support a wide range of events,” she shares. “Beyond its size and capabilities, what truly sets the OCCC apart is its commitment to exceptional service, sustainability and community impact.
“Connected to more than 5,200 hotel rooms and conveniently located near world-class dining and entertainment, the Center consistently creates an environment where innovation, collaboration and unforgettable experiences thrive.”
EXHIBITS
The heart of The Clean Show is the trade show floor, where leading manufacturers, suppliers and service providers from around the globe showcase the latest equipment, products and technologies, including:
- Machinery, systems and accessories for washing, cleaning, and other textile applications
- Financial and technology solutions
- Additives and chemicals
- Facility maintenance
- Logistics and material flow
- Energy-saving solutions and water technology
And there will be more for attendees to see this year. The 2025 edition is using more exhibit space in Orlando than was used in 2022 in Atlanta.
At that show, 347 exhibitors occupied more than 180,000 square feet on the show floor of the Georgia World Congress Center. Jira shared in June that 354 exhibitors were making use of more than 210,000 square feet in Orlando (the number of exhibitors was around 390 at latest check, so the total space used has grown larger, too).
“I think it’s very exciting that we have 68 what we call first-timers at the show, newer associations,” says Jira.
EDUCATION
As the textile care industry continues to evolve with new technologies, customer expectations, and operational challenges, Messe Frankfurt says The Clean Show 2025 is stepping up with a dynamic and expanded education program designed to inform, inspire and empower.
Attendees can expect practical insights, expert guidance and forward-looking discussions that apply to every level of business, from local laundromats to international commercial operations.
“The Clean Show education program is where today’s leaders and tomorrow’s innovators meet,” says Brian Wallace, president and CEO of CLA. “Our goal is to deliver sessions that not only reflect the realities of the industry but also help businesses thrive amid change.
“From navigating digital transformation to understanding generational shifts in consumer behavior, the 2025 lineup will offer unmatched value.”
From front-line operators and facility managers to business owners and technology leaders, attendees will find education sessions that address their most pressing challenges and biggest opportunities.
Key topics will include:
- Top Trends in the Laundry Industry — A deep dive into the top trends in the industry, such as wash-dry-fold/pickup and delivery, advances in technology, and larger stores with more amenities.
- Marketing Strategies — Practical sessions on branding, digital marketing, customer retention and competitive positioning.
- Expanding Residential Delivery & Commercial Accounts — Proven techniques for growing new revenue streams and building customer loyalty.
- Safety Certifications & Compliance — Expert guidance on certification programs, the inspection process, health, safety and more.
- Textile Industry Standards and Regulations — Updates on evolving U.S. and global compliance requirements that impact laundries and suppliers.
- Generational Shifts in Laundromats — A look at how Gen Z and millennials are reshaping self-service laundry and expectations. The differences between veterans and the younger generation will be discussed.
- AI, Innovation & Digitalization — Insight into emerging technologies transforming risk management, efficiency, customer experience and operational costs.
With a mix of panels, seminars and interactive discussions, the program will provide actionable takeaways for all industry segments. All education sessions are open to all registered attendees and exhibitors at no additional cost beyond the registration price.
The “early bird” registration price remains available through Clean’s website until Aug. 16. After that date, the rate goes up and attendees will have to register in person at the OCCC in Orlando.
Check back Tuesday for the conclusion with information about the new Innovation Awards and the show and transportation schedules.
