RIPON, Wis. — Industrial laundry equipment manufacturer UniMac, based here, reports that Upper Marlboro, Maryland-based Hynes and Waller won its 2025 Distributor of the Year award.
Alliance Laundry Systems presented Hynes and Waller with the honor during Clean Show week in Orlando, Fla.
Hynes and Waller had an exemplary 2024 with UniMac volume unit growth, as well as significant bottom-line growth, Alliance says.
“Hynes and Waller has a rich history with our UniMac brand,” says Craig Madson, vice president of North America Commercial, Alliance Laundry Systems. “So, their 2024 numbers are especially striking and worthy of this award.”
Hynes and Waller Vice President Mark Hynes also received a special honor during the event. He is the inaugural honoree of the Bill Brooks Humanitarian Award, named in honor of longtime Alliance employee Bill Brooks, who lived a life of service to his community and many others before his recent death.
It was noted that Mark Hynes embodies many of the same qualities as Brooks, including putting others first; high moral values and character; and a commitment to community service.
Hynes and Waller has served Maryland; Washington, D.C.; Virginia; Delaware; and West Virginia for almost 100 years.
