Superior Linen Service Promotes Waldman to VP

Fourth generation of family to serve at executive level

TULSA, Okla. — Superior Linen Service, a hospitality and healthcare linen and facility service provider based here, reports it has promoted Dr. Laura Waldman to vice president.

As the fourth generation of the Waldman family to serve at an executive level, she continues the company’s legacy of family leadership while bringing a strong technical and operational background to the role.

Waldman earned a bachelor of science degree and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Tulsa.

Before joining Superior Linen Service, she served as a professor of mechanical engineering and lab manager at TU. Her duties included developing standardized procedures for experimental research, technical writing and documenting procedures and results, and mentoring students in research and data analysis.

Since joining the company, Waldman has focused on improving technology, enhancing efficiency, and standardizing processes across divisions. The company says her leadership has helped position it for continued growth and long-term competitiveness.

“I’ve had the privilege of knowing Laura for many years and the honor of working directly with her for the last 2½ years,” says Therese Hood, director of sales. “Her promotion to vice president is a testament not only to her skills, talent, and vision, but to the dedication she brings as the next generation of ownership.”

In her new role, Waldman will continue to advance operational initiatives, support innovation within Superior Linen Service, and contribute to strategic planning.
