Yamamoto North America Expands Distributor Partnerships

Enhances presence in Southwest, Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountains, Midwest

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Laundry equipment supplier Yamamoto North America, based here, has partnered with four distributors, expanding its presence in the Southwest, Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountains, and Midwest regions.

SOUTHWEST

U.S. Western Multitech, headquartered in Anaheim, California, will represent Yamamoto North America’s WUN washer/extractors, WUD combination units, and VUG dryer series throughout its territory, strengthening Yamamoto’s presence across California, Nevada, and Arizona, with a primary focus on Southern California.

Yamamoto says the company brings a long-established history of servicing the West Coast laundry market, along with recognized expertise in plant design and a highly respected technical support team. It has also made significant investments in technical education to ensure its staff is fully prepared to support Yamamoto’s product line.

For customers, the partnership delivers faster support, improved delivery timelines, access to local technicians, and turnkey solutions — from plant design and equipment procurement to installation and ongoing service.

PACIFIC NORTHWEST

With its distribution partnership with Walter E. Nelson Co., based in Portland, Oregon, Yamamoto North America expands its presence throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Northern California, and surrounding territories.

The multigenerational, family-owned business has long been recognized as the Pacific Northwest’s premier janitorial and sanitation supply distribution network. With a legacy built on service, integrity, and operational excellence, Yamamoto says Walter E. Nelson Co. is making a substantial investment in the growth and expansion of its laundry division.

The collaboration strengthens Yamamoto’s Western footprint by enhancing equipment availability, accelerating service responsiveness, and opening opportunities for off-site warehousing — reducing upfront costs and improving delivery timelines for customers throughout the region.

Additionally, the close working relationship with Walter E. Nelson Co. will provide valuable field insight as Yamamoto continues refining equipment design, user interface functionality, and business practices based on distributor and customer feedback.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION

To provide full-service support — including sales, service and parts — across Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, Yamamoto North America has partnered with Commercial Laundry Systems of the Rockies, based in Johnstown, Colorado.

Under the agreement, Commercial Laundry Systems will serve as an authorized distributor of Yamamoto North America’s equipment.

The partnership strengthens Yamamoto North America’s presence in the Rocky Mountain region and enhances its ability to support customers across key industries, including hospitality, healthcare, athletic facilities, animal care, and commercial and industrial laundry operations.

Commercial Laundry Systems of the Rockies is a full-service distributor of on-premises and vended laundry equipment.

CHICAGO/SOUTHERN WISCONSIN

Midwest Laundries Inc., headquartered in Chicago, will serve as the primary source of Yamamoto North America’s equipment throughout the greater Chicagoland market and Southern Wisconsin.

Through this partnership, Midwest Laundries will represent the full Yamamoto product portfolio, including WUN washer/extractors, WUD combination units, the VUG dryer series, and the company’s forthcoming vended laundry line.

Midwest Laundries has earned a reputation as a strong, steadily growing organization with a deep commitment to customer support — values that closely align with Yamamoto’s long-term vision.

The agreement enhances Yamamoto’s regional market penetration while ensuring faster response to inquiries and improved equipment accessibility. Customers will now benefit from a full-service, locally based distributor capable of managing every stage of the process — from site visits and planning to equipment procurement, leasing options, installation, and ongoing service contracts.
