AmeriPride Celebrates 125th Anniversary with Gala Event

MINNEAPOLIS — AmeriPride Services recently celebrated its 125th anniversary with a gala event at the Guthrie Theater, the company reports, with attendance by family ownership, senior leaders, general managers and other dignitaries from within the company.

“It was really special to have our directors and general managers from across the U.S. and Canada intermingle with our executive leadership, Board of Directors and family ownership,” says Bill Evans, AmeriPride president and CEO.

As part of the event, AmeriPride unveiled its 125th anniversary video and its recently updated corporate history book.

The company was founded in 1889 by George and Frank Steiner, and is still owned by the family. The last remaining second-generation family owner and longtime board member, Harriet “Teedee” Ludwick was recognized at the event for her company service with an engraved crystal vase, according to AmeriPride.

The company also recognized select employees, including general managers Tommy Clark from the Odessa branch, Richard Boyce from the Calgary branch and Dave Reichert from the Lethbridge branch.

ABS, American Dawn, Canadian Uniform and CS Marketing Co., Deloitte, Ecolab, Milliken, Mountville Mills, Loyalty Research Center, VF, Washing Systems and Wells Fargo were presented “Strategic Partner Awards.”
