MT. VERNON, N.Y. — Unitex, a regional business with locations throughout the Northeast in the healthcare laundry industry, recently acquired Oceanside Institutional Industries LLC, the company reports.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Unitex says it will take over Oceanside’s business in Long Island and New York City, including six hospitals, 14 nursing homes and approximately 50 outpatient healthcare accounts.
The company says that Oceanside has maintained these long-standing relationships since inception and the team at Unitex will continue to provide the highest level of service that the clients have come to expect.
