Jim Oetinger, Paratherm Corp’s director of technology, has more than 25 years of experience in the chemical and plastics industries. He’s been involved with a wide range of products and processes, including pigments, refrigerants, consumer plastic recycling, polymer compounding, process instrumentation and spray-dried polymers. He also has extensive experience in the sales and marketing of thermal fluids.
Oetinger has authored articles on system troubleshooting for Process Heating, Chemical Engineering Progress, Plastics Technology and Die Cast Management. A member of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, he has a chemical engineering degree from Clarkson University and a master of management degree from Northwestern University.
