UniFirst Honors Employees For Maintaining 100% Customer Satisfaction

WILMINGTON, Mass. — UniFirst Corp. has named six of its employees Route Sales Representatives of the Year for 2008 and given them its Aldo Croatti Award for having 100% customer retention during fiscal year 2008.
The award recipients provided superior customer service to more than 600 customers in the U.S. and Canada, UniFirst says. The award-winning representatives are: Dado Aguas of Portland, Ore.; Keith Jackson of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; James Lewis of Fayetteville, N.C.; Ray Martindell of Philadelphia; Randy Phillips of Amarillo, Texas; and Allen Wall of Lynchburg, Va.
The UniFirst award is named after company founder Aldo Croatti, who grew the company from a small startup business that cleaned coveralls for workers in the Boston area to one that currently provides, cleans and services a wide variety of work apparel for more than a million workers throughout North America.
“In today’s particularly challenging business environment, it’s a tremendous achievement to keep your entire customer base happy on a weekly basis and over the course of an entire year,” says Ronald Croatti, UniFirst president and chief executive officer. “The accomplishment of these six UniFirst route sales representatives is testimony to their professionalism and to the support provided by all the other team partners at their locations who adhere to the company’s founding principle that ‘Customers are the focus of everything we do.’”
Each of the Aldo Croatti Award recipients receives a cash gift and an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Las Vegas, where they will be honored at the UniFirst annual management conference.
