TRSA Ready for Ever-Growing Tech/Plant Summit

DALLAS — This week marks one of the largest gatherings of textile service operators and vendors in the United States this year, as the Textile Rental Services Association’s (TRSA) Tech/Plant Summit opens here on Tuesday. With nearly 400 industry members expected, it will be TRSA’s largest Summit yet.

The educational program features sessions offered by textile service experts as well as outside specialists bringing a new perspective to the industry. Topics will include safety, data integration, production benchmarks, fuel purchasing and efficiency, plant automation, merchandise control, “green” chemistry and more.

Summit participants will tour four textile service plants: Admiral Linen and Uniform Supply, Fort Worth, Texas; ARAMARK, Dallas; HCA of North Texas, Coppell, Texas; and North Texas Health Care Laundry, Grand Prairie, Texas.

The Summit’s Trade Fair will be the largest in its history, with 77 vendors planning to exhibit.

Registration will be available on site at the Hilton DFW Lakes Hotel and Conference Center. While there are no rooms available at the Hilton during the Summit, there are three properties in the same complex: Amerisuites (972-691-1199), Homewood Suites (972-691-2427) and Marriott Residence Inn (972-539-8989), TRSA says.

American Laundry News is attending the event and will be providing updates here during its duration. Check back over the next few days for reports.
