TRSA Promises Big Things at Joint Committee Meeting

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — St. Louis will host the annual Joint Committee Meeting (JCM) of the Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA), a free, members-only event that TRSA promises will include opportunities for education, training and networking.
Sixteen educational sessions highlight the Sept. 18-20 meeting at the four-star Hyatt Regency. For the first time, it will feature distinct educational tracks for healthcare, industrial/dust control and linen supply to address contemporary issues facing operators in each segment.
Four general session seminars will tackle issues common to all operators, TRSA says. The first, on Sept. 19, deals with opportunities available to all commercial laundries by Selling the Environmental Benefits of Textile Services. An informative presentation that will teach members how to recruit skilled and semi-skilled employees will follow.
The second general session, on Sept. 20, provides leadership training and also offers a debate on the emerging issue of environmentally safe chemicals.
