Tingue, Brown & Co. Launches Asian Division

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — Tingue, Brown & Co. has launched a new division, Tingue, Brown & Co. (Asia) Ltd., to serve the Asian market.
The new division was established to capitalize on the development of the hospitality and healthcare sectors in China and the Pacific Rim, as well as the corresponding growth of the commercial laundry industry servicing the large number of new hospitals, hotels, casinos, restaurants and other facilities in the region, Tingue, Brown says.
Based in Hong Kong, the division is a key element in a global strategy devised to promote consistent, long-term growth for Tingue, Brown independent of a maturing American market, according to Dan Koebel, chief executive officer and head of the Asian division.
“People in China and throughout the Asia-Pacific region are eager for high-quality products, and, ironically, they understand that often means made in the USA,” says Koebel. “Compelling demand from our Asian representatives and customers and their high praise for our products validated our confidence in vigorously expanding our presence in this market.”
Launched with Class A offices alongside modern warehouse space, Tingue, Brown & Co. (Asia) is stocked with a wide range of flatwork ironer and other finishing equipment products to support its partner/distributors and promote fast delivery to laundry industry customers in the region. Tingue, Brown & Co. (Asia) offers the same product specification, installation and equipment maintenance services as its American counterpart.
