September's Texcare Asia to Be Larger than 2005 Event

SHANGHAI, China — Texcare Asia 2007 coming up in early fall will cover nearly 108,000 square feet (10,000 square meters), larger than the 2005 show, because of increasing demand for products within the Chinese laundry and drycleaning markets, says co-organizer Messe Frankfurt.
Many exhibitors have already signed up – including global brands such as Alliance Laundry Systems, Electrolux, Girbau, Jensen Group, Kannegiesser, Lapauw and Milnor Laundry System.
The show, which will host pavilions from Germany and Italy, is scheduled for Sept. 19-21 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
The trade fair showcases products and services including laundry, ironing, drycleaning, dyeing machinery and agents, equipment, textiles and accessories for rental services, laundry- and drycleaning-related measuring instruments, environmental protection and recycling apparatus, and laundry and drycleaning plant construction methods.
“Texcare Asia is the most important international event for the textile cleaning and laundry industry in China this year,” says Elgar Straub, managing director of VDMA German Garment and Leather Technology Association, adding that the association is proud to be a co-organizer of the German Pavilion at the fair.
“German manufacturers of laundry and textile cleaning technology, ironing technology and logistics are aware of their responsibility to the environment,” Straub says. “They offer machinery and systems that are state-of-the-art but also satisfy the toughest ecological standards. We’re exhibiting at the fair to showcase our technology to China buyers, to show them the latest technology in laundry and textile cleaning which will help them to handle large amounts of textiles efficiently while still conserving water and energy.”
Companies from countries and regions such as Belgium, China, Denmark, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the United States will also be exhibiting at Texcare Asia.
Attendees will receive added value with a program featuring product presentations and the Professional Textile Care Academy. Co-organized by the CNIET International Committee of Textile Care, the Academy offers a range of seminars led by experts from the laundry and drycleaning industry. Details will be released soon.
Joining Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co. in co-organizing Texcare Asia is the China National Light Industrial Machinery Corporation.
