Selling Power Names UniFirst a ‘Best Company to Sell For’

WILMINGTON, Mass. — Selling Power magazine has named UniFirst Corp. to its list of “50 Best Companies to Sell For” in North America. Out of the 25 “Service” companies on the list, UniFirst tied for 15th place.
Jerry Messenger, director of sales support at UniFirst, says the recognition “helps validate the nurturing environment we have in place at UniFirst to provide our sales reps with all the personal and professional tools they’ll need for long-term success.”
Each company that earns a spot in the listing, which appears in the magazine’s November/December 2009 issue, completed a survey focusing on salaries, financial incentives, benefits packages, training programs, career mobility, and more. The magazine’s corporate research team also conducted supplemental research on all nominees.
“Anyone entering the sales field should begin his or her job-hunting efforts by taking a good look at these top companies to sell for,” the editors of Selling Power commented on the 50 selected companies.
