ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. — Sankosha Co. Ltd. recently celebrated its 30th anniversary in Tokyo, Japan. Hundreds of guests were in attendance to honor the international manufacturer of shirt- and garment-finishing presses and bagging machines.
The formal event opened with presentations emphasizing renewed attention to customer service. Speakers reviewed Sankosha’s credo, “To be the industry-leading company for profit and operational satisfaction in the laundry and drycleaning industry,” and stressed the importance of quality in products and services.
Following the morning presentations, guests were treated to musical entertainment and a full-course meal. During this portion of the event, Mitsuyuki Uchikoshi, founder and chief executive officer of Sankosha Group, spoke about the past, present and future of the company.
Other speakers at the event included Yusuke Uchikoshi, president of Sankosha Engineering Co. Ltd. and Sankosha Co. Ltd, and Jason Lee, owner of Sankomatic, El Monte, Calif., exclusive distributor of Sankosha equipment. Guests received a hardbound edition of the history of Sankosha to commemorate the event.
