Pierce Commercial Laundry Earns Maytag’s Top Honor

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. — Pierce Commercial Laundry, Mandeville, La., recently received the prestigious Fred Maytag Award during Maytag® Commercial Laundry’s 53rd Annual Meeting in Palm Springs, Calif.
The Fred Maytag Award, with a history of more than five decades, is the longest-running award in the commercial laundry industry, Maytag says.
“Pierce Commercial Laundry’s dedication to the Maytag Commercial Laundry brand across all market segments is truly remarkable,” says Craig Kirchner, global director of Maytag Commercial Laundry. “As a company, they continue to drive new initiatives in their territory through creative marketing and good business principles. The spirit of winning is in their DNA.”
When Fred Maytag established this award, his primary objective was to recognize a distributor for outstanding achievements and remarkable performance. Recipients emulate his marketing philosophy to distribute Maytag products with professionalism and integrity.
“We are honored to receive Maytag Commercial Laundry’s most prestigious award,” says George Pierce, owner of Pierce Commercial Laundry. “We stand behind (the) … brand, its equipment and the company’s time-tested success in the industry. We are pleased to be closely associated with such a reputable company.”
Established in 1993, Pierce Commercial Laundry distributes Maytag equipment to a wide variety of facilities, including coin stores, apartment complexes and college dormitories, as well as health clubs and salons, throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, the Gulf Coast of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
This is the second time that Pierce Commercial Laundry has won the Fred Maytag award. The company is also a past winner of Maytag’s OPL Excellence award.
