Online-Marketing Expert Among TCATA Presenters

CHARLESTON, S.C. — There are benefits to be gained by utilizing websites and social media in promoting business, says the Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA), and online marketing will be among the topics featured during the association’s Annual Management & Educational Conference here April 28-May 1.
Bob DeStefano, president of SVM E-Business Solutions, a leading provider of strategic online-marketing solutions, will present How to Build an Online Marketing Machine as part of the event at the Wild Dunes Resort.
He’ll discuss how to create an effective niche-marketing strategy, turn websites into effective lead generators, attract new customers from search engines, sell more to existing customers, and measure the return on marketing investments.
Prior to the conference, attendees can request a free website analysis that will include specific recommendations on how their website, search-engine ranking, and e-mail marketing activities can be improved. DeStefano will then privately review the recommendations with attendees during the conference. Companies may request the analysis online at www.svmsolutions.com/analysis.
Other scheduled presentations include:

  • What in the World is Going On? A Global Intelligence Briefing for Business Leaders, by Herb Meyer, special assistant to the director of central intelligence during the Reagan administration. He will discuss the national security, economic and cultural issues that dominate the news and explain how they affect all businesses, large or small.
  • What is Happening in Washington and Why You Should Care, by Jade West, senior vice president-government relations for the National Association of Wholesalers-Distributors. She will update attendees on important legislation that has either already passed or that is currently being debated by Congress that affects businesses.
