ATLANTA — NOVO Health Services, a healthcare linen management company headquartered here, reports that it plans to build a new healthcare linen processing facility in Louisville, Ky.
The new plant will create more than 150 jobs in the Louisville area and represents a significant investment in both the community and the region’s healthcare infrastructure, according to the company.
Once operational, the facility will have the capacity to process 50 million pounds of healthcare linen per year.
“This expansion underscores our commitment to providing healthcare providers with the highest quality linen management services while contributing to local economic growth,” says Karl Fillip II, president and CEO of NOVO Health Services. “Louisville is an ideal location for NOVO’s continued growth, and we are proud to bring jobs and innovation to the community.”
The company says that the facility will serve as a cornerstone for NOVO’s continued growth in the Midwest, meeting rising demand for safe, efficient, and reliable healthcare linen solutions.
NOVO says it focuses on safety and infection control and provides its partner hospitals with a value-driven linen management control system that measures and monitors linen utilization by department to eliminate excess internal costs.
