Next Texcare Asia Set for 2007 as China's Industry Prospers

SHANGHAI, China — With China's textile care industry on the rise, the period between Texcare Asia shows grows shorter and shorter.
Less than two years after Beijing played host, Shanghai will welcome the World Market for Modern Textile Care in September 2007, show manager Messe Frankfurt has announced.
New tax incentives for manufacturers and end-users of energy-efficient equipment, coupled with a tourism trade pushing up demand for laundry and drycleaning equipment, contribute to the increased frequency.
The industry's growth there is attributed to a combination of factors, including increased environmental awareness, renovation and construction of hotels and hospitals, and a growing middle class that's more fashion- and hygiene-conscious, Messe Frankfurt says.
