Mission Linen Supply Names Ross President/CEO

Replaces retiring Willig, who remains executive vice chairman of board

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — John Ross is the next president and chief executive officer of Mission Linen Supply, effective immediately, the company has announced. Ross replaces Karl Willig, who retired from the post but remains executive vice chairman of Mission’s board of directors.

Ross, who joined the company in December, was leading Mission Linen’s operating plants and branches throughout the West as vice president of operations prior to the promotion.

“I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to working with the Mission team to strengthen and grow our company while continuing to provide outstanding products and services to our customers,” says Ross, who also joined the company’s board of directors.

Ross graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served for five years as a commissioned officer in the Army. After completing his service, he earned an MBA degree from the University of California at Irvine. He worked for Cintas Corp. and Swisher Hygiene before joining Mission Linen.

“John is as close to a perfect fit for leading Mission Linen as one could hope to find,” says Willig. “His education, training and work experience have prepared him to lead this company aggressively into the future.”

Mission Linen Supply manages more than 40 plants and employs 2,500 people in California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Oregon.
