Messe Frankfurt to Premiere Texcare Forum Russia

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany — Messe Frankfurt will premiere Texcare Forum Russia, the International Forum for Modern Textile Care, in Moscow Sept. 30-Oct. 1. The event will include a conference and exhibition area for Russian and international providers of laundry and textile-cleaning technology to show their products.
After the premiere, Messe Frankfurt, the German trade-fair company, along with the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre IEC Moscow, will organize Texcare Forum Russia once a year.
“With the Texcare Forum Russia, we are making an anticyclical investment in this time of economic difficulty,” says Detlef Braun, member of the board of management of Messe Frankfurt. “We are starting with the Forum and plan to expand it into a trade fair. Russia and the CIS are highly promising markets for the German and international textile-care sector, and we see good medium- to long-term perspectives there, especially in the fields of garment textiles, industrial laundries and consumer services.”
Messe Frankfurt is drawing up the two-day conference program jointly with the Russian Association for Dry Cleaning and Laundry Enterprises.
Russian and international exhibitors will cover product groups such as machinery, apparatus, equipment and facilities for laundries, ironing, textile cleaning and dyeing; washing and cleaning products, disinfection agents and dyestuffs; equipment, textiles and accessories for rental services; machinery and additives for cleaning carpets, floorings and upholstered furnishings; and systems for environmental protection and recycling equipment.
Supporters of Texcare Forum Russia include the German Association for Mechanical Engineering and Plant Construction (Verband Deutscher Maschinen und Anlagenbau, or VDMA) and the industrial association for textile services (intex e.V. Germany), the Russian Association of Dry Cleaning and Laundry Enterprises, the Department of the Consumer Market and Services, Government of Moscow, and the Moscow Chamber of Commerce.
