IEHA Launches Interactive Online Tool

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — A website launched by the International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA), titled Housekeeping Channel Professional Edition (HC Pro), provides a bridge for consumers who want to turn “pro,” and access for professionals who want to grow their expertise and become certified. The site will also feature video, audio, interaction and tutorials.
“We are so very pleased with the positive exposure HC Pro will provide the IEHA brand to the general public and aspiring cleaning professionals,” says Beth Risinger, IEHA CEO and executive director. “We look forward to working with our partners in education to further expand awareness about the vital role we play together in protecting public health, along with the cleaning industry’s progressive commitment to professional development.”

HC Pro contains abstracts and excerpts from IEHA’s educational curriculum, information on IEHA certification programs, and on topics such as Integrated Cleaning and Measurement™ (ICM™), team cleaning, day cleaning, green cleaning, cleaning science, systems thinking, and other best practices.
IEHA’s educational partners who reach consumers and also specialize in professional cleaning — the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) and Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) — will be featured prominently on HC Pro. Participating certification bodies include the Institute of Inspection, IICRC, CRI, ISSA-CIMS, Cleaning Management Institute (CMI), and others.
