RIPON, Wis. — Metropolitan Laundry Machinery Co., Richmond Hill, N.Y., was recently named the 2010 Huebsch Distributor of the Year, the second consecutive year it has won the honor. The award is based on year-over-year increase in overall sales, professionalism, ongoing training and other customer-support criteria.
“Huebsch has a history of providing customers with superior service,” says Gary Dixon, North American sales manager for Huebsch. “Metropolitan is a professional organization that is committed to customer service. They take the customer through the entire process, from finding a location and securing financing to business counseling.”
Metropolitan has more than 15 years experience as an authorized Huebsch distributor. During that period, it has been named the company’s top distributor 10 times.

Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Queens, N.Y., Metropolitan is recognized as one of the nation’s largest and most respected distributors of commercial laundry equipment, Huebsch says. In addition to its New York location, Metropolitan also has a branch office in Union, N.J. Its sales staff serves Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey and Delaware.
