HLAC Names 3 New Board Members

Industry professionals elected for 2018-20 term

PLAINFIELD, Ill. — The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) has elected three new members to its board of directors for the 2018-2020 term, HLAC reports.

The new board members are Mark J. Hoenemeyer, chief executive officer of Bay Linen Inc., Clearwater, Fla.; Paul Jewison, president and chief executive officer of Textile Care Services Inc., Rochester, Minn.; and Rocco Romeo, chief executive officer of HLS Linen Services, Ottawa, Ontario. 

“Mark Hoenemeyer, Paul Jewison and Rocco Romeo are among the best and brightest in our industry,” says Bradley J. Bushman, HLAC board president. “They are tremendous advocates of HLAC accreditation, and they share the organization’s goal of promoting HLAC as the foremost accreditation organization in the textile services industry.”

HLAC is the nonprofit organization that inspects and accredits laundries processing textiles for hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities. 

HLAC’s voluntary board of directors comprises a cross-section of objective experts with experience in infection prevention, environmental services, laundry operations and government inspection.
