FRANKFORT, Ill. — The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) announced its 2010 board of directors during a recent board meeting.
They are:
- Chairperson Patti Costello, American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services (ASHES).
- Vice Chairperson Nancy Bjerke, BSN, RN, MPH, CIC, Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC).
- Secretary/Treasurer Rick Kislia, Crescent Laundry.
- Judy Reino, immediate past chairperson, Reino Linen.
- Brad Bushman, Standard Textile Co.
- Sandra Hensley, RN, MSEM, BSN, CIC, University of Toledo Medical Center.
- Bill Mann, Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA).
- Ed McCauley, United Hospital Services.
- Rob Potack, Unitex Textile Rental Services.
- Rocco Romeo, HLS Linen Services.
- Lynne Sehulster, Ph.D., M(ASCP), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
- David Stern, Paris Companies.
The HLAC reports that more than 80 laundries have received accreditation.
