SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. — Gurtler Industries has acquired AuroraChem West, a regional manufacturer and supplier of specialty laundry chemicals and services based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The entire AuroraChem staff is joining Gurtler, including the sales, service and management teams. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Our technical service is customized for each individual operation. We specialize in problem solving.”
AuroraChem West provides products, services, and dispensing systems for the hospitality, healthcare, linen supply, and industrial laundry market segments. These products and services will be integrated into the full Gurtler line and available across the country.

AuroraChem West will continue to operate under its current name for the next several months as Gurtler begins to integrate the team and product line into a unified organization, the company says. AuroraChem West became an independent company by spinning off from AuroraChem in 2007. AuroraChem is still operating in the eastern United States as an independent company.
