G.A. Braun Promotes Welsh to President

Served as company’s director of operations for 18 years

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — JB Werner, CEO and chairman of the Board for laundry equipment manufacturer G.A. Braun reports that David Welsh has been promoted from director of operations to president. 

He succeeds Rick Rudmann, who will remain on as a strategic advisor. 

“Dave has done a tremendous job as director of operations and is well deserving of his new role as president,” Werner says. “I look forward to working closely with Dave as we continue to grow G. A. Braun Inc.”

Welsh held the position of director of operations for the past 18 years, responsible for managing Braun’s purchasing, assembly, fabrication, quality, logistics, safety, plant maintenance and training. 

He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and has more than 34 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
