EXPOdetergo to Pair Extensive Exhibit with Educational Program

MILAN — Attendees of the EXPOdetergo International trade show, to be presented Oct. 3-6 at the Fiera Milano Exhibition Center in Rho, near Milan, can expect to learn about equipment, services, products and accessories for the textile care industry, according to show organizers. The event aims to showcase technologies and products of importance to industry members, as well as provide a valuable educational program.

More than 270 companies from 21 countries will take part in the exhibit, where they will showcase the latest laundry machinery, ironing equipment and chemicals, as well as products related to transportation, packaging, identification, textiles and software, say show organizers. JENSEN, for example, will take the opportunity at the event to introduce a new generation of energy-efficient dryers, and will unveil new features for the company’s washing and extraction, sorting and handling, and finishing systems, among others.

The conference program opens on Oct. 3 with a seminar on professional textile cleaning challenges that will focus on best practices, innovation, international projects and supply chain cooperation. The seminar is organized by CINET (International Committee of Textile Care) and will be presented in English.

During a European Textile Services Association (ETSA) meeting on Oct. 4, recent breakthroughs in chemicals and detergents and environmentally- and safety-focused solutions will be discussed.

The day’s first seminar (presented in English) will tackle the role of laundries and dry cleaners in participating in constructive dialogue with clothing manufacturers and consumers. Later, the supply chain of textile care will be covered and presented in Italian with English translation.
