FRANKFURT, Germany — With a year still to go before the doors open, almost all of the exhibition space occupied by the last edition of Texcare International has been booked, according to the show’s promoter, Messe Frankfurt.
For the first time, Messe Frankfurt is opening Hall 9 in addition to Hall 8 for Texcare International 2016—slated for June 11-15—to meet exhibitor demand for additional exhibition space, as well as to offer more space for new and young companies.
Wolfgang Marzin, president and chief executive officer of Messe Frankfurt, says, “By opening Hall 9, we can reinforce future-oriented product groups at Texcare and achieve even higher levels of internationality on both the exhibitor and visitor sides. Naturally, we are delighted that this restructuring has been given such a positive reception by exhibitors.”
The sector’s market leaders have wasted no time in signing up, according to the promoter. They include Alliance, Christeyns, Ecolab, Jensen, Kannegiesser, Lavatec, Miele, Multimatic iLSA and Pellerin Milnor. Trade visitors will find the leading manufacturers from the entire range of products covered by Texcare International, organizers says. The spectrum to be seen includes machinery and equipment for professional textile care, drycleaning and finishing agents, services, IT, workwear, and table and bed linen.
“The textile care business is developing dynamically and expanding in many different product groups, for example, textiles for contract hire and textile service, as well as information technology and merchandising planning and control systems. These are the product groups that we plan to expand at Texcare,” says Johannes Schmid-Wiedersheim, head of Texcare brand management, Messe Frankfurt.
At the last Texcare International in 2012, 262 exhibitors from 26 countries presented their innovations to approximately 15,600 visitors from more than 100 nations. Besides Germany, the main exhibiting countries were Italy, the United States, Belgium, the Netherlands and Great Britain.
In addition to Texcare International, Messe Frankfurt will also stage Texcare Forum Russia in Moscow on Nov. 23 and Texcare Asia in Shanghai on Nov. 25-27.
