Ecolab Named Among ‘Best Places to Work’ for Fourth Consecutive Year

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has named Ecolab Inc. one of the “Best Places to Work” in the Twin Cities area for the fourth consecutive year.
The publication named Ecolab one of the top-scoring businesses on its employee survey, which is conducted by Quantum Market Research and the Business Journal.
“We’re extremely proud to receive this recognition once again,” says Douglas Baker Jr., Ecolab chairman, president and chief executive officer. “Ecolab works to provide an environment in which our associates can develop both personally and professionally. As a company that differentiates itself based on the premium personal service our associates provide for our customers, we want our people to have the necessary tools, training and support to enable them to add significant value and be recognized and rewarded for that.”
To be eligible for the project, companies had to have offices in the 11-county metro area and at least 10 full-time employees, or be based in Minnesota with at least 1,000 full-time employees. Nearly 180 companies participated in this year’s Best Places to Work contest, with 45 qualifying. Honorees were chosen by tabulating the results of employee surveys that scored their companies on criteria such as work environment, people practices, co-workers and innovation.
“We continue to invest in and develop efforts to improve our work environment as we strive to bring increased value to our associates, our customers and our stakeholders,” Baker says.
