Dexter Hires Hietpas to Head Sales, Promotes Mack in Engineering

FAIRFIELD, Iowa — Dexter Laundry recently hired Kevin Hietpas, formerly with Alliance Laundry Systems, as its director of sales and marketing, and promoted Robert Mack to director of engineering.
Hietpas’ business career has consisted of increasingly responsible roles in marketing administration, distributor sales, product management and sales management, Dexter says.
He’d worked at Alliance in Ripon, Wis., since 1987, and his positions included regional sales manager as well as product manager for various commercial products. Most recently, he was Alliance’s North American sales manager for its Huebsch brand. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh.
Mack, a graduate of Iowa State University, was promoted after nearly 20 years with Dexter Laundry, where he’s credited with many mechanical washer and dryer designs.
He replaces Jim Billingsley, vice president of engineering and quality. Billingsley is a 33-year company veteran who’s retiring from regular employment but will continue to serve on Dexter’s board of directors.
