Clean Show to Offer Korean-Language Education for First Time

ATLANTA — For the first time, the Clean Show will offer Korean-language educational sessions when the Las Vegas Convention Center hosts the event June 6-9.
Two hours of Korean-language sessions are scheduled on each of three mornings. A Korean trade publication is sponsoring the program.
“We wanted to reach out to the Korean community, which is such a large segment of the textile care industry,” says John Riddle, president of Riddle & Associates, the Clean Show’s management firm. “When The Drycleaners Times approached us about providing education specifically directed toward the Korean market, we believed it was a win-win opportunity for everyone.”
Korean-language sessions will include How to Use Social Marketing and Wet and Dry Cleaning Techniques. Sessions to be presented in both Korean and English will be How to Prevent and Solve Soil Pollution and How to Approach the Dry Cleaning Market. The latter session is designed for those wanting to conduct business with the Korean community, Riddle says.
“We hope Korean professionals will take advantage of this opportunity, not only for the education, but also to see virtually all the working equipment, products and services available to the industry,” Riddle says. “In fact, we have expanded the show floor to accommodate the companies that want to exhibit. The Clean Show is the only place to find everything in one location, and it only happens every two years.”
The Korean-language sessions complement a full educational program presented by the show’s sponsors and other textile care associations from the United States, Canada and Europe. A complete schedule is available online at www.cleanshow.com.
