Clean 2017 Exhibit Sales Top 200,000 Square Feet

Attendee registration, housing to open in November

ATLANTA — After less than five months of sales, exhibit space for Clean 2017 in Las Vegas has topped 200,000 square feet, which is more than each of the past four Clean Shows, says Riddle & Associates, the event’s longtime management firm.

As of Oct. 6, Riddle had sold space covering 200,606 square feet to 307 exhibiting companies, including 22 new to the Clean Show. Companies interested in exhibiting are encouraged to book space as early as possible.

It’s the world’s largest exposition for the laundry, drycleaning and textile services industry, according to Riddle, and brings together more than 11,000 people from around the world to see the industry’s latest products and equipment.

Show attendees can compare working equipment to determine what best suits their operational and business needs, and can see and touch “virtually every product” the industry has to offer, Riddle reports. On top of that, there will be more than 40 hours of educational sessions to appeal to all industry segments.

Next year’s show is scheduled for June 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“Momentum from Clean 2015 in Atlanta continues toward making the 2017 show a success,” says John Riddle, president of Riddle & Associates. “We still have lots of good booth locations and are confident that the exhibit hall will fill up to capacity.”

Registration to attend Clean 2017 is set to open in early November.

The Clean Show also has contracted with several Las Vegas hotels to offer special rates and amenities, many of which have not been in previous Clean Show hotel packages, according to Riddle & Associates. That housing will open later in November, and only hotel reservations made through the show’s official reservation company will receive the contracted amenities.

Riddle & Associates warns attendees to be cautious if contacted by “unauthorized people offering hotels or services claiming to be from the Clean Show.”

Formally called the World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning, the event has been held every two years since 1977. Sponsors are the Association for Linen Management (ALM), Coin Laundry Association (CLA), Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI), Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) and Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA).
