Clean 2011 Manager: More Than Half of Show’s Exhibit Space Already Sold

ATLANTA — With a little less than a year to go, Clean Show 2011 has sold more than 50% of its exhibit space in the Las Vegas Convention Center, according to Riddle & Associates, the show’s longtime management firm.
“We are delighted that sales are going so well,” says Jim Thacker, chairman of the Clean Executive Committee and executive director of the Association for Linen Management. “This appears to be an indication that the industry’s economy is picking up. We want potential exhibitors to know, though, that there are still many good spaces available.”
Clean 2011—officially the World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning—is themed “The Show That Works.” It is the only U.S. textile care show that features working equipment, Riddle & Associates says, plus it offers educational seminars and networking opportunities that work to improve a company’s business.
Attendance for the June 6-9, 2011, show is expected to be approximately 10,000 to 12,000.
Exhibitors and attendees who plan to attend can make hotel reservations now for any of the 11 hotels in the show’s official package: Bally’s, Caesar’s Palace, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Imperial Palace, Las Vegas Hilton, The Mirage, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Riviera, and Wynn Las Vegas.
Five trade associations sponsor the biennial show, and have selected headquarters hotels for their activities. They are: Association for Linen Management (ALM), Planet Hollywood; Coin Laundry Association (CLA), Bally’s; Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI), Paris; Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA), Las Vegas Hilton; and Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA), Las Vegas Hilton.
Clean 2011 negotiated special room rates at the 11 hotels to suit any budget, ranging from $49 to $175 per night.
Reservations must be made through the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority Housing Service. Go online to www.cleanshow.com, click on either “Attendees” or “Exhibitors” on the home page, then scroll down to “Hotels.”
Reservations require arrival and departure dates and a one-night deposit for each room reserved.
Attendee registration will open in November. Pre-registration will be $99 per person (on-site registration will cost $149 per person). Cost includes entrance to the exhibit hall for the entire show and all educational sessions.
