Christeyns USA Take Step to Expand North American Operations

Chemical, equipment, service provider acquires stake in Las Vegas-based ACI

EAST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — Christeyns USA, a provider of chemicals, equipment and service based here, reports it has completed an agreement to invest in Las Vegas-based Applied Chemical Innovations (ACI).

The company says it’s an important step in its next phase to expand its North American operations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed

Founded by Chet Van Orden, ACI specializes in supplying premium quality specialty cleaning chemicals and services to commercial, industrial and institutional end-users across the Western United States.

“This strategic investment in ACI is an integral part of bringing Christeyns’ unique wash chemistries and innovations to the entire U.S. market,” says Rudi Moors, president of Christeyns USA.

“It provides ACI access to new technology and sustainable chemistry concepts. This will help customers lower their utilities cost, extend linen life and make operational improvements in their plants. All told, it positively impacts their bottom line by decreasing total operating costs.”

“Having access to these new technologies with an experienced global organization like Christeyns is what’s really exciting about this partnership,” Van Orden says. “It provides significant value and will help laundry leaders increase their productivity.

“With Christeyns in our corner, it opens the door for us to expand our market reach.”

Van Orden opened Applied Chemical Innovations in 2014. The company’s customer base is made up of gaming and hospitality properties in Nevada and neighboring states and includes education, healthcare, industrial buildings, restaurants and transportation, among others.
