Carnegie Exits NYC Hotel Linen Market to Focus on Valet Business

Prestige Industries to take over accounts

NEW YORK — Carnegie Linen is exiting the New York City Area hospitality linen space in order to focus on its core valet business, the company reports.

Prestige Industries will service all of Carnegie’s linen customer accounts, with Carnegie management providing transition support, according to Carnegie.

“We thank our linen customers for many years of service,” says Eric Schweitzer, president of Carnegie Linen. “The hotel linen market has evolved tremendously in the past two decades and we believe Prestige is uniquely well-positioned as the only hospitality laundry service provider that can handle significant volume with excellent care and service.”

“We welcome Carnegie’s customers into the Prestige family,” says John O’Brien, COO of Prestige Industries. “We eagerly anticipate continuing and building these customer relationships.”
