Best Manufacturing, VF Corp. Name New Presidents, COOs

MAHWAH, N.J./GREENSBORO, N.C. — Best Manufacturing has hired a former Milliken & Co. executive as its new president and chief operating officer, while VF Corp. has promoted from within in naming its new president/COO.
Ben Shoaf comes to Best Mfg. after 31 years with Milliken. Most recently, he was that company's division president for both Finished and Greige Textile Fabrics.
He'll report to Scott Korman, Best's chairman and chief executive officer, and the heads of Best's divisions will report to Shoaf.
Shoaf believes the Best team "can build a $1 billion company by 2010."
At VF Corp., Eric Wiseman, who previously served as executive vice president for global brands, assumes responsibility for that company's day-to-day operations.
He'll report to Mackey McDonald, who continues as chairman and CEO. Wiseman has 28 years of experience in the apparel industry, having joined VF in 1995.
