ASHES Relocates 2010 Conference to Maryland

CHICAGO — Due to last month’s flooding of the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Tennessee, the American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services (ASHES) has moved its 2010 Annual Conference — slated for Sept. 26-30 — to the Gaylord National Resort at National Harbor, Md., 15 minutes from Washington, DC.
ASHES says that registration will be processed as normal for attendees already registered for the event. Anyone not yet registered is encouraged to do so. For more information on conference registration, visit the ASHES website.
Hotel rates for the Maryland resort will remain the same at $159 per night, plus a $15 resort fee. The rate for government employees is $130 per night, plus a $15 resort fee.
Due to the logistical changes and operational activities surrounding this venue change, ASHES has not yet been able to distribute a detailed conference brochure electronically. The organization anticipates posting this information on its website in the coming weeks, and will make an announcement when more information is available.
