ARAMARK Plans New Plant in Florida

BURBANK, Calif. — ARAMARK has unveiled plans to construct a state-of-the-art uniform servicing plant in Pompano Beach, Fla., that is expected to bring 80 to 100 jobs upon opening this fall.

“We are excited about our expansion in South Florida and the investment we are making in a new industry-leading facility, and in the communities we are serving,” says Gene West, group manager for ARAMARK Uniform Services operations in Florida.

The new 79,000-square-foot facility will be the third addition to ARAMARK Uniform’s network of facilities in South Florida, and is situated between Palm Beach and Miami Dade counties, with easy access to transportation infrastructure.

The company says that the new facility will employ state-of-the-art energy and water conservation technologies, enabling it to become environmentally friendly, while expanding service. Better space configuration in the new location will also assist in process efficiency, the company adds.

“Our new Pompano Beach facility is a win-win for everyone,” says Victor Becerra, general manager of the new site. “Our investment creates construction jobs in the short term, enriching career opportunities with ARAMARK for people in the longer term, and ultimately an even greater service experience for our clients and customers moving forward.”
