Improves service to customers in Texas, parts of Oklahoma

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Alsco Inc., a linen and uniform rental company, reports that it has acquired Admiral Linen and Uniform Service, based in Houston. Admiral will continue to operate under the Admiral brand name.

The acquisition will help Alsco, a fourth-generation, family-owned company, offer better service to its customers in Texas and parts of Oklahoma.

“Alsco has over 125 years of experience and Admiral has over 66,” says Jim Divers, Alsco’s director of sales and marketing. “As partners, we have almost 200 years of combined experience, and that’s something unique that we can offer our customers.”

The acquisition adds eight processing plants to Alsco’s existing 73 plants in North America. The company’s geographic coverage will expand to locations such as Houston, Fort Worth, Wichita Falls and Corpus Christi, Texas. Services include linen, industrial uniforms and healthcare processing plants.

Alsco employs more than 16,000 in 150 branches worldwide.
