ALM 2020 IMPACT Conference Offered Both Live, Virtual

Hybrid event to take place Nov. 2-4 in Colorado Springs, online

RICHMOND, Ky. — The Association for Linen Management (ALM) reports that its 2020 ALM Educational Conference, IMPACT, will be a hybrid event. That means it will be offered both as a live event in Colorado Springs and virtually Nov. 2-4.

The association says it recognizes that because of the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, some people are comfortable with traveling, while others are unable or unwilling to do so.

“Because so many conferences and meetings in the textile care industry have been canceled due to the pandemic, we consider it our proud duty to provide this opportunity to share information, thoughts and best practices as we all find new ways to move forward through these times,” ALM shares in an e-mail.

“We want to assure any attendees who choose to participate in person that we will follow current guidance and recommendations to provide an educational and networking experience with additional safety measures for their comfort.

“For those who prefer not to travel, we are working to create a virtual experience that allows attendees to fully benefit from the safety of their home or office.”

Anyone who hadn’t signed up to attend previously, registration is available online. ALM says it will contact current registrants to update their attendance preference.

Details will be updated as they become available on the IMPACT website, ALMnet.org/IMPACT.
